PANTHERS ADVANCE TO DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP
The Augusta Panthers defeated Bracken County for the third time this season, sending them to the 39th District Tournament Championship, as well as giving them a birth to the 10th Region Tournament.
AUGUSTA HIGH SCHOOL HOMECOMING ROYALTY
Clay Krebs and Becca Weiss were crowned Augusta High Schol Homecoming King and Queen for 2012. Caleb Hunt and Naomie Krebs were crowned Prince and Princess.

AHS TECHNOLOGY STUDENTS TAKE 1ST PLACE
Augusta Independent School students Jameel Halawani, Brahm Hamilton, Rhett Kelsch and Corey Moore participated in the Keep-It-Real Video Contest with their entry titled “It’s Not Too Late, It’s Never Too Late” and won the Award for Best Comedy.

Matt Groves, AHS Class of 2007 is a television personality. Pursuing his dream to be a print media journalist or television news and sportscaster, Matt is currently working as a newscast reporter for WREX-TV in Rockford, Illinois.
